Car-free day Car-free day

Guimarães carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
We would like to do it on 20 September. He seems less problematic, because 22 is the first day of return to school, and this weekend (Sunday 20) will have a major solidarity event. The main city square (and garden surrounding areas) will be closed to traffic - except for some public and clean kinds of transports. Free public transport and parking all day (main city line).
