Tulcea organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2015, taking into account the annual theme.

- official statement to the press with the program of activities taking place during the mobility week 2015
- posting of website of Tulcea City Hall of European Mobility Week program
- printing informative materials (flyers, questionnaire) related to theme “Choose. Change. Combine”
- popularization of the event, through post on pupil’s satchel of the symbol of EMW
- workshop – benefits of alternative modal transports for health – discussions on traffic rules with a representative of road transport and a specialist in labor medicine
- an excursion into the bicycle history – a PP presentation
- post on windscreen of cars of informative flyers
- Printing of event poster
- Printing and awarding of diplomas to participants
- 19 September – parade of a modal means of transport (rolls, skate boards, bicycles, scooters) on the direction: Union House of Culture - The Children Town Park.
- 20 September – marathon “The Gates of Danube Delta”, second edition, in Tulcea town in collaboration with Tulcea Youth and Sport Direction, on a 21 km distance, a popular route of 5,25 km, a kids route under 14 years old, closure of two main streets: Isaccei, Unirii, between 08:30- 13:30
- 22 September – “ In town without my car” – closure of Unirii street between 08:00 – 17:00, drawing on asphalt, flash mob
Activities will be held with the support of Danube Delta Economic Collegium, George Georgescu Arts High School, 12 School, Grigore Antipa School

Car-free day Car-free day

Tulcea carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Closing of Unirii Street, a main and central street to traffic, on the 22 of September, between 08:00 to 17:00.
