Bacau organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2015, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- Organising a round table on theme of multimodality “Choose. Change. Combine” where there will be invited representatives from local government, NGOs, universities, public authorities and economic operators; Number of participators 35.
Creating a media event in local newspapers and TV.
Printing and and producing of promotion materials
- Organize competitions with children, related to mobility on the closed street: running, roller, cycling, drawings. 400 participants.
- Organising a bicycle tour to promote sustainable mobility; 300 participants

Car-free day Car-free day

Bacau carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The Car-Free Day event will be organised on 18 September. One street from the inner city will be closed to traffic and opened to pedestrians and cyclists.
