ALZHEIMER'S MARATHON (www.maratonaalzheimer.it)
A number of different walks start from Cesena to other municipalities of the hill towards the sea in Cesenatico city. The goal of the initiative is to promote physical activity as an effective response against the disease, to improve the quality of life and the air we BREATHE! The idea started taking a look among Alzheimer's patients and marathoners, trying to put together some common aspects: the sick who are "wandering " walking aimlessly looking for a place from which to draw well-being, and the marathon runners find their well-being consciously through the race .
The issue, therefore, is the health of citizens and the importance of engaging in first person every day to improve the quality of life in our cities.
