Car-free day Car-free day

London Borough of Hackney (London) carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Rivington Street closed to motor traffic on 22 Sept. Pop up event to promote Zero Emissions Network, (business engagement project)
