The Municipality of Terranova di Pollino will organize "European week of sustainable mobility at Terranova di Pollino", a rich series of events and activities to coach the citizens to the European Mobility Week on September. The second edition of a sustainable week in wich some events will take place:
- "To school practising Nordic Walking";
-"To school with Mountain Bike";
-"In the city without my car".

Sports Associations, Students and Nordic Walking and Mountain Bike national level qualified trainers will contribute to the events.

Main activities :

16/09/2015 - Opening "European week of sustainable mobility"
And event "To school practising Nordic Walking"

Meeting at Piazza Generale Virgallita and distribution of poles. Students will go to school, practising nordic walking. Actually, national level qualified trainers are going to shepherd children and show them basic thecnique of the discipline.
Small presentation of the initiative promoted by the European Committee and brief showing on Nordic Walking

17/09/2015 – Initiative "To school by piedibus"

Meeting at Piazza Generale Virgallita. Students will go to school and come back home, by piedibus.

18/09/2015 – "To school practising Nordic Walking"
Students will go to school, practising nordic walking.

20/09/2015 – Event "In the city without my car"

The event will provide several initiatives:
Pedestrian precinct in Via Dante start h. 9.00 end: 19.00
Mountain bike gimkana start h. 16.00 Piazza Carmine

21/09/2015 – "To school by Mountain Bike"
Meeting at Piazza Generale Virgallita. Students will go to school and come back home, by mountain bike.

22/09/2014 – End "European week of sustainable mobility "
Event "To school practising Nordic Walking"- handover of a participation certificate

NB: Sport association and qualified staff will contribute .Actually, Nordic walking and Mountain Bike national level qualified trainers are going to shepherd children
