Car-free day Car-free day

Sofia (София) carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
1. Square Knyaz Alexander I and the area within the boundaries of Alexander Dondukov Blvd., 11 Avgust Str., Vrabcha Str., Vasil Levski Blvd., Aksakov Str., 6 Septemvri Str., Gen. Gurko Str., Lege Str., Positano Str., Vitosha Blvd. will be closed on 22 September for motorized vehicles from 9.00 to 17.00 h. And mobile laboratory for air quality control will be located within the above mentioned area.

2. Gen. Gurko Str. will be closed on 22 September for motorized vehicles in the area between Vasil Levski Blvd. and Evlogi Georgiev Blvd. in order to be carried out the activities planned for September, 22.
