Sliedrecht organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During this week there is special attention for cyclists. As the city does want everybody to take part in the Bicycle Count Fiets Telweek.
- Kids will be stimulated to go to school themself walking or by bike. In this way we do want to stimulate the parents not to bring their kids by car.
- Saturday September the 17th
* public transport by bus, organised by Arriva is free.
* there will be a whole day on which the Dutch Cyclist Union is checking bikes on there quality. This is the start of a program where in 6 cities in the area Drechtsteden this will be organised.
* The Right Pressure For Your Tire’ On this event car drivers are advised in practise to check the pressure of the tires more often in order to save fuel, and money and avoid air pollution.
