Pančevo organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

17.9. "Come down to the river", sailing on the Tamis, rollers, cyclists, walkers along the river banks
18.9. "A street has more faces, no. 1." Closing one of the major streets, organizing open air events
19.9. "Pancevo, this is when you come back", press conference and workshop in Tourist organization of Pancevo, promotion of "green Pancevo"
20.9. :BICIKLOFON - For smart phone charging" (special bicycle who produce electricity for charging phones).
21.9. "Smart future of Pancevo", Promotion of "Spartacus" - multi functional device for practicing cycling, walking, etc.
22.9. "A street has more faces, no. 2"- Car free day, closing streets in the city centre.

Pančevo implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Construction of 6,8 km paths in the city centre, constructing 3 "BICIKLOFON" devices, for charging mobile phones by "pedaling"
Public transport services
Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)
Use of ecological vehicles for public transport fleets
Development of new technologies to improve public transport
Launch of integrated services for the various public transport modes
Development of river public transport by introduction of 2 "catamarans", and intermodality with cycling
New forms of vehicle use and ownership

Developing system "Island for sustainable traffic", a project initiated and financed by city of Ravena, to promote electrical vehicles, with the first recharging station in Serbia
