Fr 16.9: Opening of New bike trail
M 19.9: Distribution of rewards for Walkers/ bikers
T 20.9: Race between bike and car from Residential area to city center
O 21.9: Distribution of rewards for Walkers, bikers and bus passengers.
T 22.9: Seal off road by Schools - all the street for bikers and Walkers.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Opening bike trail at Sandfallet secondary School. opening of new bike line at Skillemo.

Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)

Car-free day Car-free day

Alta carries out a Car-Free Day 2016 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
* Cordoned off center parking.
* Seal off road by 3 middle- and high school.
