The participant is committed to:

Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
- Cyklojazdy mestom po plánovaných cyklotrasách - Hlavný architekt mesta predstaví obyvateľom trasovanie plánovaných cyklotás v meste a poinformuje o konkrétnych riešeniach, problémoch,..
- osvetové podujatia na podporu verejnej dopravy
- inštalácia cyklostojanov pred verejnými budovami a základnými školami
- kampaň na podporu MHD:
Zriaď si čipovú kartu na MHD v termíne od 16.9-16.10. 2016 a vyhraj hodnotné ceny
zbieraj lístky MHD - vyhraj bicykel (súťaž pre ZŠ)
- Na bicykli do obchodu - kampaň pre obchodné prevádzky na území mesta
- S hadom na zebre - súťaž pre ZŠ na území mesta
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Uzatvorenie parkoviska na Nám. Slobody od 6,00 - 18,00hod. V pristore bude prebiehať tlačová konferencia a informačná kampaň ohľadom novej parkovacej politiky v meste
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
  • Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Pedestrianisation
  • Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
  • Extension or creation of new greenways
Public transport services
  • Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)
  • Use of ecological vehicles for public transport fleets
Traffic calming and access control scheme
  • Speed reduction programmes in zones near schools
Accessibilities
  • Enlargement of pavements
  • Removal of architectonic barriers
Mobility management
  • Adoption of school travel plans
  • Launch of awareness-raising campaigns
