Labin organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer

Photography Contest – "POKRENI SE" (Get moving) – an award photo contest intended for all posted on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, 16 – 22 September 2016; take photos of the best event, activity, person during the European Mobility Week and, with the help of citizens' votes, win one of the best photo prizes – Implementer: CITY OF LABIN

17.00 – 19.00 Treasure Hunt (City Lodge) – children will discover the locations of certain hidden objects by answering riddle questions about the city of Labin. The emphasis is on physical activity and movement, but in an educational way, because children will learn about certain historical attractions of the city of Labin.
12.00 – 15.00 EVS Speed-date (Rock Caffe Labin) – designed for 3rd and 4th year of secondary schools (the mobility of students and volunteers, European Voluntary Service).

17.00 – 18.30 Basketball tournament for people in wheelchairs (Playground Kature)

Permanent measures

Labin implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day

Labin carries out a Car-Free Day 2016 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
