Стара Загора (Stara Zagora) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
This year the information campaign "European Mobility Week" is organized in Stara Zagora in partnership between the Information Centre Europe Direct Stara Zagora, Stara Zagora Municipality, Mall Galleria Stara Zagora, Center for Science, Culture and Art Stara Zagora, bikeclub "Zara", Youth Bulgarian Red Cross Stara Zagora and Directorate "Traffic Police" with the slogan for smart mobility - by bike, on foot and by public and shared transport. This is a the way for a cleaner air in the city, healthier people and stronger economy.
On 20th of September we will start a combined pedestrian and bike march for children aged 10-13, which will be led by the Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora, Mrs. Krasimira Chahova. The meeting point for departure is situated near the open air badminton courts in Park Ayazmoto. Before the start there will be a short demonstration of representatives from bikeclub
"Zara" and instructions for Road Safety made by representatives of the "Traffic Police." The march will end at the Mall Galleria, where is previewed an organized program and activities. For all involved children are provided prizes.
