Participation 2016

The participant is committed to:

Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
We will have park(ing)-day during the week. That means that we will make park out of some parkingspaces and ask some shops in the city sentre to decorate these parks. We will serve lunsj and encourage the prople to eat the lunsj in a park, make pictures and send in to an Instagram competition.
We will also launch quotations on some pedestrian streets in Stavanger to thank the people going to work, busstop, school or kindergarden.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
