Car-free day Car-free day

Vaxholm carries out a Car-Free Day 2016 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Car Free Day in Vaxholm occurs on September 24. Parts of central Vaxholm will be closed to traffic and a lot of acitivities will take place in the streets. Parades, exhibitions, games, aerobics, dancing, bike parade and more to come.
