Activities within the week
Papendrecht organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.
All week
During this week there is special attention for cyclists. As the city does want everybody to take part in the Fiets Telweek.
- Kids will be stimulated to go to school themself walking or by bike. In this way we do want to stimulate the parents not to bring their kids by car.
- Saturday September the 17th public transport by bus, organised by Arriva is free.
- Tuesday September 20th their is a special safety training for people who do use a mobility scooter, organised by the Dutch Road Safety Union

Papendrecht implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
