Reykjavik carries out a Car-Free Day 2016 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Laugavegur og Bankastræti, Pósthússtræti og Austurstræti.
