Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
On the frame of the European Mobility Week Heraklion Municipality, re-opens the Road Safety Park located in Nea Alikarnassos, Heraklion to the public on Monday 26 and Tuesday, September 27, with a two-day road safety actions.
On Monday morning, at 10 a.m. will be officially opened in the presence of Mayor Vassilis Lambrinos, which was the one that has had the initiative to get the park renovated and give back to the public after a long period of abandonment.
A series of actions of all security bodies (Hellenic Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Red Cross) involved in the effort, so their presence, a child understand and see from near the point of existence of services and their vehicles through video and true representations.
On the first day the action will monitor the municipal Nea Alikarnassos school with 200 children and the next day, Tuesday, September 27 the 47th Elementary School with 200 other children.

A process that will follow all schools of Heraklion, Crete. The opening to traffic education park made with the co-organization of the Police Directorate of the Region of Crete, located in Chania and security forces (Greek Police, DIAS, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Red Cross) as well as the Municipality Benefit Company of Heraklion.
