Activities within the week
Olomouc organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.
During the day without cars, there will be a presentation of electric vehicles (cars, bus, bicycles), hybrid cars and support carsharing and bikesharing on the Upper Square.
Furthermore, the evaluation of the year-round competition for children supporting traffic education is prepared in the center of SEMAFOR. A cycle ride will also be organized by the cyclecoordinator after the measures that have recently been built in the city.
And throughout the week there will be competition between the departments of the municipality: Sustainable to work!
Permanent measures
Olomouc implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)

Car-free day
Olomouc carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
