Cycling mobility
Project of the 1st urban section of the international bicycle lane "Via dei Pellegrini" (via Francigena London – Brindisi).
The aim of the cycling ridge is to satisfy the tourist demand, but above all to serve the systematic demand for home-school and home-work shifts favoring the integration with rail services (RFI and FN lines), funicular railway Como-Brunate, Lake Navigation of Como and urban and extra-urban bus services, to reduce car dependence and increase the competitiveness of collective transports.
The project of the 1st section, which will be implemented in 2018, completes the existing bicycle itinerary along the first basin of the lake, connecting Cernobbio and the borough of Tavernola to the historic center and the main railway station of the city (Como San Giovanni).

Pedestrian mobility
Plan of signage of the urban paths for access to the network of hiking trails on the hills around Como, to promote pedestrian mobility linking the old town (limited traffic zone) to the suburban woodlands.
The purpose of the project is to encourage citizens and tourists to move slowly, cleanly and healthily to visit the city and its surroundings without the use of motorized vehicles.
The marked routes, which will be implemented in 2018, start from the central square San Fedele and arrive at the east paths of Brunate, Triangolo Lariano and valley of the Cosia stream, the south paths of Val Basca and Lake Montorfano, the west paths of Spina Verde and of the mountains on the western shore of Lake Como.

Public transport
Electronic ticketing and tariff integration of transport, by Regione Lombardia, Local Public Transport Operators, Provinces and Municipalities of Como and Lecco and Local Transport Agency.

The measure is part of the incentive policies and simplification of accessibility to the regional transport service and is financed by Regione Lombardia and by bus service companies of Como and Lecco.
The ultimate goal is to offer the opportunity to travel on all regional railway services, bus routes and public transport on the lakes, with a smartcard which will encourage the loyalty of the users.
Electronic ticketing will be launched in the Como basin in 2018, starting with urban and extra urban buses and funicular railway service.
