Car-free day Car-free day

Tomar carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
We are not going to close streets but we will promote free trips in urban public transport, an exhibition with the theme "sustainable mobility" and promote a competition in schools with the theme "Less cars, more clean air".
