Trento organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
A) "TRENTOINBICI: FIRST BIKE BEGINNING" - Saturday, September 16th.
Initiative by the Mobility Office in collaboration with the Trentino Rainbow and Kaleidoscope Cooperatives, Car Sharing Trentino, FBK, FIAB, APT Trento Monte Bondone Valle dei Laghi, the Local Police Corps - Road Education Office, the Youth Policy Office and The Municipal Library of Trento. This is a pedestrian open to everyone, starting from Dante Square and two route options, which can also be used by the youngest to get in the game. Collecting points and bonuses along the routes and at the stands of Piazza Dante, will allow participants to earn tickets for the final extraction of nice prizes and gadgets. Collection of adhesion and material distribution in Piazza Dante starting at 2 pm.

B) “TARGA LA BICI” - extraordinary afternoon edition: Monday 18 September. On Via Belenzani from 14.00 to 18.00, a free bicycle marking service with the owner's tax code will be available upon reservation. By the Mobility Office of the Municipality of Trento.

C) “ECO-ORIENTEERING”: Tuesday 19 September. Initiative by the Youth Policies of the Municipality of Trento, in collaboration with the local police, UISP - Trentino Committee, FIAB. Initiative addressed to elementary schools in the city that adhere to the project "Safe walking". Children are encouraged to travel with sustainable modes (on foot, by public transport) from their school to Albere Park, where eco-orienteering will be performed, an interactive stage game on environmental, ecological and historical themes . Appointment at Albere Park from 10.00 am to 11.15 pm (in the event of bad weather the activity will be moved to the morning of Wednesday, September 20th).

D) “TRENTO, ROAD STORIES”: Monday 18 to Friday 22 September. Proposed by the Youth Policy of the Municipality of Trento. Initiative reserved for the second, third, fourth, fourth grade of the primary school consisting of a one-hour and 30-minute journey along some of the city's streets. The children, accompanied by educators of the Diocesan Museum, will discover through tales, games and guided remarks, the transformations that the city will take over in time. The visits will have a symbolic price of one euro per child and must be booked by Thursday, September 14 by calling the Diocesan Museum Trentino.

E) “GIRETTO D'ITALIA": Thursday, September 21st. Urban cycling championship promoted by Legambiente, which assigns the pink jersey to the City, capable of putting more cyclists out. Organized by the Mobility office, in collaboration with FIAB.

F) BIBLIOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION: Edited by the Municipal Library of Trento. From September 15 to 23 p.v. At Sala Manzoni: review of books on sustainable mobility issues.

G) “TRENTO E ROVERETO PLAY & GO”: initiative by the Mobility Office of the City of Trento, in collaboration with the Bruno Kessler Foundation and the partnership of the City of Rovereto. This is a prize game aimed at all those who are gravitating on the cities of Trento and Rovereto (residents and commuters), which aims to attract and retain the most sustainable travels through the planning of routes using a Smartphone App (Travels Play & Go). The game will start on Saturday, September 9, 2017 and will run until March 2, 2018.

Car-free day Car-free day

Trento carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Saranno chiuse al traffico, nella giornata del 16 settembre, la via Vittorio Veneto e alcune strade del quartiere di Cristo Re.
