Randaberg kommune organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
We will arrange an Instagram contest with the #syklingirandaberg. The jury will choose three winners, and the winners will be presented at Høstmarken in 2017. First price will be a GOPRO camera.
We will write quotations on the streets to say thank you to the walking people.
Friday "goodie bags" will be given to people using the public bus, walk or take the bicycle to work by the kommune to thank them for not using their car.

Car-free day Car-free day

Randaberg kommune carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
As a part of four communities in the region of Stavanger, the city centre of Stavanger will be closed for traffic. That means Kongsgårdbakken, Haakon 7`s gate and Strandkaien.
