Municipality of Delphi organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Our week of activities for #mobilityweek includes:
On Saturday 16/09/2017 photography exibition, Sunday 17/09/2017 poetry night, Monday blood donation for the employees of the municipality ,Tuesday and Wednesday 19/09/2017 and 20/09/2017 respectively, an event will be organized with the participation of primary and secondary school students in Amfissa, as well as with the special school for disabled students that will provide information on the European Mobility Week and the benefits of sustainable mobility through the distribution of relevant material.
During the European Mobility Week measurements of air pollution will be carried out in the city of Amfissa using the I.ME.T. Mobile Research Area - Pedestrian and Pathways Research Unit and at the same time its exhibition in a central spot of the city from 18/09/2017 to 22/09/2017.
On Thursday, 21/09/2017, we will talk about the benefits of using the electric car & demonstration on Kehagia Square.
Set the day Friday September 22, 2017 as "Car-Free Day" by blocking the traffic of vehicles in the city's historic and commercial center.
Also, on Friday, 22/09/ 2017, the proposed pedestrian zones from the approved traffic study for the city of Amfissa will be implemented, a walking tour will be organized via the pedestrian routes in the city of Amfissa by the Mayor that will include some of the city's monuments, an information booth will be placed at the Towh Hall for the distribution of printed material on sustainable mobility and its importance.
The culmination of the events will be the "Car-Free Day" on 22 September 2017, where, among other things, we will present the "Plan for Sustainable Urban Development of Amfissaā€¯ in order to highlight our broader strategic planning and our vision for the creation of a Sustainable Municipality in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. The preparation of the business plan will enable us to claim the necessary funding for its implementation.

Municipality of Delphi carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
