Activities within the week Activities within the week

Κατερίνη (Katerini) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Since its establishment at 2010 Cycling Escape of Pieria participates in the European Mobility Week by visiting schools as well as the Traffic Education Park for Children - to put into practice the lessons learnt-, organizing sustainable mobility seminars and distributing information material to the citizens of Katerini.

However, our main focus as an association, not only in the framework of the European Mobility Week but also throughout the year, is cycling education. An interactive presentation of bicycle’s history and what it should be equipped with is to shown to students. In our visits, we always highlight the importance of light colored clothing, helmet and lights as well as the significance of following the road signs and regulations.
