Elbasan organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

Starting from 16 of September to 22, there will be an awareness campaign for the week, concerning the pollution of the environment caused by the unnecessary circulation/use of cars
Car-free day
Elbasan carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Closing the main boulevard "Aqip Pasha" with the aim of developing bicycle competitions of school pupils from the stadium "Elbasan Arena"to the crossroads "1 May"
