A conversation with city planner and biker enthusiast Janis Kinasts, about the benefits and opportunities of Lubans to become the most environmentally friendly city in Latvia.

12:00 Workshop for slogans and poster for Green Cycling. Prepare your green message, print shirts and flags in Lubana. Take your shirts, or the clothes you want to print, as well as sheets or curtains that can be recycled in posters!

13:00 A bike ride around Lubana with Janis Kinasts. Meeting at the Youth Center. Join us with your bike!

14:30 "Activation Barometer". A game in which the people of Lubana will be able to understand the volume of their environmental activism and public voice. After the game, we will launch a possible first environmental action in Lubana.

These activities take place within the framework of the Friends of the Earth project within the Sustainability School thanks to the EU Program for the Promotion of Education and Awareness, as well as for the financial support of the Society Integration Foundation. The Sustainability School project is taking place in more than 20 EU Member States, with the aim of developing a critical awareness of the community and promoting informed action on the key challenges of development, environment and social justice that people around the world are now facing.
