Car-free day Car-free day

La Matanza de Acentejo carries out a Car-Free Day 2018 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Parking car Ayuntamiento de la Matanza and close to traffic a stretch of Avda Tinguaro.
There will be a large sample of alternative energy vehicles, a sample of the different mobility systems, and several tests will be carried out with electric cars, bicycles and electric motorcycles.
A series of workshops and recreational and family activities will be developed around mobility, modal change, road education, efficient driving ....
