Kópavogur organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2018, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Nature walk. The environmental and transportation committee of Kopavogur in collaboration with the Historic organization of Kopavogur offer a guided walk from the Harbour, along the coastline of Karsnes to the town national day celebration park of Rutstun. The guided tour takes 2.5 hours.
17 September
Unveiling of two cycling and walking counters. The counters are the first step of creating a net of counters for the municipal in the coming years.
18 September
The unveiling a new separated walking and cycling path from district of Vatnsendi to the district of Smárinn. Connecting the two districts with 1.5 km path for cycling and walking.
19 September
The unveiling a new separated walking and cycling path at the sports center Fifan. The new path connects the current cycling path along Fifuhvammsvegur in the district of Smárinn to the district of Vatnsendi to coast line, city center and district of Kársnes.
20 September
Book of knowledge. Educational day a the library regarding environmentally friendly transportation. Companies are invited to showcase their range of bicycles for sale.
21 September
Bicycle tour. A guided tour of the original farmstead settlements in the municipality.
22 September
Bus fares are free this day to encourage the use of public transportation and the mixing of choice of transport.
