1) Mix and move .... to the Municipal Library of Kozani!
Students of the 5th Primary School of Kozani will choose to move towards the new impressive Municipal Library building by mixing different ways of transportation. They will combine walking, citybus, bicycle and car pooling. Arriving at their destination, they are guided to the new library building and discover it's history and the rare material it hosts.

2) Walking together with S.E.O. Kozanis
SEΟ Kozanis is an active mountaineering club of our city . We choose to walk a marvellous suburban path , engaging as many citizens as we can and thus giving a loud message of movement! The starting point of the route will be the “Sk'rka” area 5 minutes on foot from the center of Kozani. We will leave our cars (car pooling) and our bikes there and we will continue on foot. We will go to the shelter of the SEA of Kozani in the area of "Smahko" where the club will offer coffee, tea and water. Then we will continue on the paths of Mount Athos to reach Saint Thomas. We will follow the path through the forest and we will reach old Hotel Xenia and then downhill to Ailiostrata we will reach the point where we started.
The length of the route is 5 km and it takes about 2 hours. The route is easy and everyone can participate.
18 September
1)Mix and Move ... for all ages!
Members of KAPI Kozanis (elder people club) will take a bus tour to historic neighbourhoods of the city, recounting memories and experiences. Then they will visit the beautiful Municipal Garden where they will take a walk and end up at the sports equipment (placed at the Municipal Garden) provided by the Municipality from a grant from the Green Fund (from previous EMW actions!). There will be a short fitness program in the presence of a gym trainer and will be given advice to the elderly about the benefits of movement in our daily lives.

2) Municipality of Kozani ....in the plug!! So happy to announce our new electrical cars and bicycles bought for EMW!
19 September
1) We are celebrating!! And we dress our bus stops with the colours of EMW!!

2)E.O.S. takes us for a walk at Ailias- Saint Elias paths
EOS is an active mountaineering club. The hike starts with the members of EOS from the"Niaimeros"area. Passing through the Epirot Park and the dense forest, we enter a network of paths that our fellow citizen Kostas Bellas, with personal effort and everyday care, built in the mass of Ailia (St.Elias). A first stop is breathtaking in the "Helinotopi". Until then, the grimness is at a very low point - it is also suitable for small hikers, children along with their parents can get a little hiking! We continue our journey by circling the hill of Ailia at its base. We reach the famous Peristerones and the past climbing field area. We climb up to the chapel - the pilgrimage of St. Constantine and continue to the top and the church of Ailas. A little further down, we find the offices of EOS Kozani. We go downhill again into the paths of Kosta Bella. till we end up at our starting point. Overall, the route is characterized as mild, without much difficulty. We will take a course of about two and a half hours, traveling almost 5 kilometers of distance.

3) Conference : Sustainable Urban Mobility Projects (S.U.M.P) for small and medium sized cities. How can we optimize our everyday quality of life with S.U.MP? Are there any problems to be considered? Which is the best way to communicate S.U.M.P with citizens? Mayors, deputy mayors, professors and the National EMW Coordinator will give to the people of Kozani important knowledge and their experience.
20 September
1) Theatrical game for children at the Central Square with professional theatrologists. Let's move kids!

2) Handball game with children... but not only!
21 September
1)SVAK presentation at the 1st Lyceum of Kozani (secondary school). Are young people informed enough about sustainable mobility? Maybe they have more to say than we think. Let's hear them!

2) How many minutes long is it from the centre of the town? We encourage children to walk certain routes and count the distance in minutes. Most probably we will all realize that walking rather than driving will save time, in certain routes. The results will be shown at a permanent digital screen outside the Town Hall.

Get into the bus it's a car free day!!
