Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.

Hiking tour and visiting rural areas of Lustica peninsula - old settlements Gornji Krašići, Gošići, Kostići and Bjelila
17 September
Presentation "Protection of the Marine Enviroment of Montenegro" that will be held by Mr Richard Georg, enthisiast and captain of ship named "Chance Discovery"
18 September
Eco Camp - visit to wind pover plant "Krnovo" (that produce "clean" energy) near the town of Nikšić for primary school children
19 September
Eco Camp - visit to pover plant "Pljevlja" near the town of Nikšić for primary school children
20 September
Parking Day event on large parking lot in downtown
21 September
Closing street "II Dalmatinske brigade" in downtown and competition in riding a bike and knowledge of traffic rules
22 September
Critical Mass
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Closing following streets: "II Dalmatinske brigade" , "Arsenalska" and "Obala Filipa Miloševića"
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Traffic calming and access control scheme
  • Speed reduction programmes in zones near schools
  • New traffic regulations: traffic circulation and parking
  • Create the tactile pavements
