Bistrita organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.
16 September
Launch of the European Mobility Week 2019 through an announcement published on
www.primariabistrita.ro, which includes the programme of local actions;

”Walk with us to the Green School !” - activities dedicated to the SMW theme, with the participating of the primary school students, at the Ecology Center administered by the city hall.

”Let’s pedal for green energy!”- the primary school students will generate electricity and charge their phones through pedalling on a special bicycle .

- ”The bicycle senior” and ”the bicycle junior” contests – will be awarded the oldest and the youngest bikers participating at the event;
- City bike tour
- „Two wheels family” contest: The family that participates in the cycling tour with at least 2 members will be awarded;

- In the 20th and 22nd of September the Environment Protection Agency will make noise measurements in the area where the traffic is closed on the 22nd to make the appropriate comparison;

Car-free day
Bistrita carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
