A speech will be made by the Director of the Elementary school of Alinda, on issues of sustainable urban mobility. Also representative of the Municipality of Leros will refer to issues of "Safe Walking and Cycling" under the call-to-action "Walk with us!"
17 September
A speech will be made by the Director of the Elementary school of Lakki, on issues of sustainable urban mobility. Also representative of the Municipality of Leros will refer to issues of "Safe Walking and Cycling" under the call-to-action "Walk with us!"
18 September
A speech will be made by the Director of the Elementary school of Ksirokambos, on issues of sustainable urban mobility. Also representative of the Municipality of Leros will refer to issues of "Safe Walking and Cycling" under the call-to-action "Walk with us!"
19 September
A speech will be made by the Director of the Elementary school of Agia Marina, on issues of sustainable urban mobility. Also representative of the Municipality of Leros will refer to issues of "Safe Walking and Cycling" under the call-to-action "Walk with us!"
20 September
A speech will be made by the Director of the 1st and 2nd High school of Leros Island, on issues of sustainable urban mobility. Also representative of the Municipality of Leros will refer to issues of "Safe Walking and Cycling" under the call-to-action "Walk with us!"

The local radio station will announce all day the Car-Free Day (to be held on Sunday 22 September 2019)
22 September
Leros Island Car-Free day celebration.
The vilages below will be car-free areas between hours 06.00 - Sep 22 2019 to 07.00 - Sep 23 2019.

2. Lakki Village
The above villages areas will be reserved solely for pedestrians, cyclist, and public transport.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
