Torino (Turin) implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Torino (Turin) carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The City is bringing forward various traffic moderation actions. We are creating some temporary car free spaces in front of two schools with a road closure. The objective is to make this short term pilot and than make this actions permanent dureing the sping 2020.
