Randaberg kommune organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
During the mobility week, there will be added quotations on the street to say thank you to the pedestrians and those who use the walking lane.

During the mobility week, there will be a Facebook campaign with info about traffic rules for pedestrians and cyclists.

There will be a stand with a local bike shop in «sito-passasjen» from the time 14:00 to 18:00. It will be possible to get the pressure in tires checked and oil/greasing of the bike chain for free.

If parts need to be fixed or changed it will be possible to make an appointment with the bike shop, but this must be paid by the ordering person and is not a part of the bike check.
17 September

During the day the 4-graders in the municipality will be given a visibility vest to wear during the autumn and dark days. This is a part of the municipality’s campaign for making kids visible for the cars and reduce the chance for a traffic accident in our area.
19 September
During the day breakfast will be offered to people walking, cycling or taking the bus in the municipality.
22 September
Randaberg municipality will celebrate the car free day on Sunday 8 September in collaboration with Stavanger and Sola municipality. There will be a big event in Stavanger city center with over 70 different stands dealing with green mobility, environmental issues and Public Health.

Randaberg kommune carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
