Gimhae organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2020, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
To prevent the further spread of COVID-19, Gimhae decided not to hold an off-line Car-Free Day event this year. Instead of this, Gimhae is going to host an on-line campaign during this period to promote and spread eco-driving practices in the city.

· Stay at home to prevent a rapid spread of COVID-19
· When you go to local places, ride a bike or walk instead of using cars.
· In case you have to drive a car, do 'Eco-drive' to lessen greenhouse gas emission.

Gimhae implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Develop public bicycle hiring and sharing systems
Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Installation of charging points for e-bikes
Launch of free-floating bike-sharing schemes planned
Pedestrianisation

Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
