See below voting links; pedestrian streets > shorturl.at/eQZ25 , bicycle routes > shorturl.at/DMQYZ

On Tuesday also all our social media pages start promoting all available green mobility means in the city. Private companies with e-vehicles are presenting their cars, motorcycles, e-scooters and e-bikes and give us advise on their use and autonomy.
17 September
Starting from Thursday we introduce a series of virtual photo and video tours in the great walking routes of our city. The Venetian Walls/ Fortifications (surrounding the Old City of Heraklion) have been regenerated this summer... and upgraded to be accessible for ALL users, parents with strollers, disabled and the elderly. However very few know that this route (7km long) is now accessible for all and offers spectacular views of the city. Being a monument for tourists ... it now aims to welcome all citizens to meet again the largest and best preserved fortifications in Europe!
Moreover, our green minibus gets on track! A virtual video tour introduces us to the first electric mini bus in Heraklion. The buses were acquired by the city through the ECOROUTS programme and the circulation starts this October, so the mobility week is the great opportunity to present it to our citizens!!
18 September
Another virtual video tour presents the difficulties of people with disabilities in our city. Blind girls and boys explain to us what is wrong with our behaviour in the street, what we can to to include them in the city life and many more.
19 September
Two experiential activities take place in the city ''on-site'' and through ''video guidance''. The theme is " I show I care for the city... by cycling". The first is for children and the second is for adults! The Union of driving instructors explain us how and why cycling is the greenest mode, how we can drive clean vehicles, what are the implications of driving an e-car, electric motorcycles, e-bikes etc.
20 September
The e-mobility webinar and discussion for green mobility start on Sunday with 5 keynote speakers involved in green mobility projects. The present us the future of e-mobility, share their experiences and pose the key challenges. A public voting platform goes live today for selecting the places in the city ... where we shall place EV chargers for all means of transport. The voting closes on the 22nd of Sept.
21 September
We start our first online consultation for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan. All local stakeholders meet with our experts and share ideas and thoughts about our SUMP vision. We discuss priorities and targets and identify all our mobility issues. The consultation is open to all citizens and several voting tools are in place to support our meeting.
22 September
The municipality and students from the neighboring schools paint again our seaside bike lane and add special marks on the pavement with pro-cycling messages! We activate the space and re-connect the missing parts of the bicycle lane, and... voila there is a 5km regenerated bike route!
