Lilienthal organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2020, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Whole week:
1) Politicians give away their car key and car and use one week alternative transportation and report their story.
2) Mobility excursion with mobility pictures of Lilienthal.
3) Book table about mobility in the library.
17 September
Car free school day with invitation of 50+ other schools around Lilienthal to join that action.
18 September
Elderly council invites.
Night walking tour.
19 September
Walk and tidy up Lilienthal with Manfred Kiehn.
Bicycle tour and discussion.
Walk/use bike to Blühfläche.de and meet Bauer Claus.
CarRaceRace - Initiative Mobilität against the major of Lilienthal.
20 September
Car-free Day, celebrating autumn in the entire city of Lilienthal, only public transport and pedestrians are allowed for 5 hours - organised by WIR.
LivingStreets in different streets of Lilienthal. Everyone is sharing the street, for paining, sitting, chatting, driving and take care for the others.
21 September
Mobility starts with motion. HipHop dance of children.
Soccer team makes a special charity run.

Lilienthal carries out a Car-Free Day 2020 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
1 mile on the main street (Hauptstrasse) in Lilienthal and the entire Klosterstrasse from 11pm- 18pm.
