Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.

Action 1: Voluntary blood donation under the auspices of Trikala Hospital and Farkadona Community Center.

Action 2: Distribution and promotion of of the European Mobility Week poster in public places, in schools etc.

Action 3: ''Everyday life on wheels''
Radio dialogue with people with disabilities and sharing their experiences in everyday mobility issues.

Action 4: "Healthy Cities"
Conference about the Sustainable Mobility and Health presented by Head of the Strategic/Operational Planning & ICT dpt.

Action 5: ''Zero emission Day''
Involvement of car companies to promote green transportation by advertising their own hybrid and electric cars.

Action 6: ''Drawing Edgar''
Printing the mascot of the campaign (Edgar) and its promotion in the kindergartens of the Municipality for painting by the students.

Action 7: "Little Road Users":
Workshop for safe walking, cyclying, skating, and a complete education over the rules of safe driving and traffic on the roads, organised in cooperation with a Driving School.

Action 8: "Car-Free Day": A 3-hour closing of the central urban street of Farkadona for the motor vehicles.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
