ΓΡΕΒΕΝΑ (GREVENA) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2020, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Α. Starting the European mobility week by presenting the sustainable urban mobility plan.
Β. "Learning about electric bikes", during the event atendees will watch how electric bikes work and have the chance to make a ride across the newly marked route that begins at the professional high school and ends at the ​​workers' housing area.
17 September
traffic education seminars for parents from traffic police departement and the environmental education center
18 September
"WALKING TOGETHER"
We will walk with the health runners club across the newly signposted route from the professional high school till the ​​​​workers' housing area.

Hiking and yoga at the suburban forest "kastraki" with the health runners club and the "treehealth yoga school"

new certified play grounds, installation of outdoor fitness equipment, new green rest areas in town , graffity depicting a cyclist, new signposted path for bikers and pedestrians

Car-free day Car-free day

ΓΡΕΒΕΝΑ (GREVENA) carries out a Car-Free Day 2020 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day: Makedonomachon and fardykampou street will be closed to traffic. These two roads have been proposed by the sustainable urban mobility plan to be pedestrianised. Street Musicians will entertain us.
