Afternoon with the Municipal Police on the children´s traffic playground in Hradec Kralove - Trebes (information about traffic safety, camera car of the Municipal Police etc.)

"You Can Give Up Tommorrow" - discussion with Richard Štěpánek, who lost his left hand in a car accident. Even so, he played sports and managed the 100miles adventure ultramarathon five times, leading through the Czech and Slovak mountains.

Car Free Day event
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
  • Develop public bicycle hiring and sharing systems
  • Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
  • Installation of charging points for e-bikes
  • Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
  • Extension or creation of new greenways
Public transport services
  • Use of ecological vehicles for public transport fleets
  • Development of new technologies to improve public transport
  • Create the tactile pavements
  • Lowering of pavements
