Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.

monitoring and check in number of cycling flows in some streets of Rimini

Inauguration of the new cycling path realized by the Municipality of Rimini for promoting daily trip from home to school/work
21 September
Promotion a campaign for walking together as a "Bike-Bus" for anyone for the health and for the environment
22 September
Bike day promoted by FIAB Rimini
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
  • Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
  • Other: Inauguration of the new cycling path realized by the Municipality of Rimini: Via Coletti, Via XX Settembre
  • Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
