Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
- Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
- Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
- Installation of charging points for e-bikes
Pedestrianisation
- Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
- Extension or creation of new greenways
Public transport services
- Launch of integrated services for the various public transport modes
Traffic calming and access control scheme
- Speed reduction programmes in zones near schools
- New traffic regulations: traffic circulation and parking
- Elaboration of new residential areas
New forms of vehicle use and ownership
- Charging points for electric vehicles
Mobility management
- Create/establish mobility centers and on-line information services (eg travel planner)
- Elaboration of educational materials
- Permanent access restriction to city centres
