Car-free day
Naxxar carries out a Car-Free Day 2022 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
CAR FREE DAY- 07:00- 20:00
Upper part of Triq ta I-Labour (one side only) and the left hand side of Pjazza Vittorja (pjazza Toni Bajada) will be closed for traffic. Traffic coming towards the back of the church (from San Gwann) will continue to proceed as normal.
Traffic coming up from Labour Ave to Pjazza Vittorja will not be allowed to proceed beyond the junction with 21 September Ave. As a result to this arrangement, traffic will also not be allowed to enter Triq Santa Lucija from Pjazza Vittorja.
