Car-free day Car-free day

Ville de Lyon (City of Lyon) carries out a Car-Free Day 2022 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Our car-free event "La voie est libre" will be hosted on September 24th and 25th all over the city with car-free perimeters in each arrondissement. Many of them will feature events organised by shopkeepers and organisations.
