Cargo Mondo is a hands-on event showcasing how cycling can revitalise places, renew landscapes, and strengthen local economies!

Mobility is no longer just about roads and parking—it is a cultural, environmental, and social challenge. What happens when architects, urban planners, artists and citizens come together on two or three wheels to reimagine public space?

Cargo Mondo is a participatory training event exploring cycling’s power to transform neglected areas, regenerate landscapes and spark local economies. Taking place during European Mobility Week, it invites us to ride through art, craft, design and visions of the future.

• Test Area: Try out cargo bikes, tandems, tricycles, and e-bikes.
• "From Leaf to Sheet": A bike ride with an artistic stop where art high school students will paint en plein air using natural watercolours made from plants found in the Gulf of Policastro.
• Chiano Chiano F.A.M.O. – Fair of Today's Arts and Crafts: An opportunity to discover tradition and innovation. Stands will feature handicrafts, electric recharges, and urban furniture.
• CARGO TALK:
  • Palmarosa Fuccella, consultant for the Calabria Parks Cycle Route project.
  • associazione EPMC - Video stories from European festivals dedicated to slow mobility.
  • Circle Time debate with students, architects, and active citizens.
  • Moderated by journalist Antonella Grippo.

This event is accredited by CNAPPC and offers 3 CFP for architects.
