Detailed description (English): Metrominuto is a schematic pedestrian map based on the aesthetics of transit maps, marking the distances between the most important points of a city and the times an average person would take to walk those distances, designed to encourage citizens to get around on foot. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrominuto)
Troncha Cerros has the will to vindicate the use and improvement of public roads by joining our environment on foot, by bike or running.
In 2017 Troncha Cerros adapted the METROMINUTO to Puertollano; We have traveled the city walking as a healthy habit, observing the pedestrian use of urban space and prioritizing pedestrians and people with mobility.
Last year, more than 200 people claimed the old road to Villar and mobilized groups around sustainable and healthy mobility. In 2022 we will once again propose uniting Puertollano with a relevant place in its surroundings in a healthy and accessible way, enhancing its value and improving knowledge of our territory, in harmony with other groups, thus promoting coexistence and social participation, education and respect, environment and promoting healthy habits.
This year we want to extend the metrominute to the municipality of Argamasilla de Calatrava, including new stops and carrying out a round trip route, claiming the need to improve the roads and create a sustainable path between the two municipalities, separated by just 3 kilometers and with more than 2,000 trips a day.
