Detailed description (English): The Spanish multi-mobility company Cabify launched a project to facilitate the mobility of priority groups that need to travel to mass vaccination centers in the cities where it operates in Spain. To this end, it had the collaboration of the associations CEOMA (Spanish Confederation of Organizations for the Elderly), emancipaTIC and Down España, which helped to disseminate this project among those who can benefit from it, mainly people over 65 years of age or people with mobility problems.
Cabify offered 25,000 free round-trip rides to and from mass vaccination centers in the ten cities where it operates in Spain: A Coruña, Alicante, Barcelona, Murcia, Madrid, Malaga, Seville, Santander, Valencia and Zaragoza. In order to benefit, users enter the code 'VACUNA2', and request a trip in the 'Cabify Lite' category that has as its origin or destination one of the mass vaccination centers enabled in their city. The maximum discount for each trip amounts to 15 euros (30 € in total), which will be deducted from the final amount of the trip in case it is higher than this figure. Each user can enter the code once, which was valid for two trips -round trip- to be made during the following 30 days, and can be used to travel with the same person or to accompany a family member or friend.
The launch of this initiative in collaboration with CEOMA, emancipaTIC and Down España allowed the recipients of this campaign to have training and educational materials adapted to make it easier for them to download the app and use it, as well as to use the code to travel for free.
