Detailed description (English): European Mobility Week is an annual campaign that promotes sustainable urban mobility. It aims to raise awareness about the environmental and health benefits of reducing car usage and encourages us to explore alternative modes of transportation such as walking, cycling, and public transit.
How can you participate?
Plan Your Route: Look for safe and convenient walking or cycling paths to your office.
Public Transit: Explore local public transportation options that can get you to work efficiently.
Carpooling: If driving is necessary, consider carpooling with colleagues to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
Another event organized in Vienna, is about a fantastic opportunity to spend some time outdoors, take a break from our daily routines, and recharge our batteries while enjoying nature. We are proposing the following hike to the employees that would like to join: Muckenkogel – “The 1,248-metre high Muckenkogel and the 1,313-metre high Hinteralm are among the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Lower Austria. The view stretches out over the Danube valley to the north and far into the Alps to the south. The Muckenkogel is particularly well developed with hospitable huts and well-marked hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty.”
Target group(s): employees in Vienna
Objectives: Environmental Impact: Reducing car usage helps decrease air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
