Detailed description (English): The Vélo Vin Copains festival in Luberon (20 September 2025) invites 300 participants of all ages to explore a 32 km route through vineyards, villages, and heritage sites, accessible to all types of bicycles. By favoring cycling over motorized transport, the festival highlights cycling as a viable, fun, and social mode of everyday mobility. Practical workshops help participants learn how to maintain and repair their own bicycles, strengthening autonomy and long-term use. Along the way, riders meet local producers, taste regional specialties, and enjoy music and conviviality, creating strong links between citizens, tourism, and local economies. With safety measures, responsible consumption tools, and a focus on inclusivity, Vélo Vin Copains Luberon shows how active mobility can be practical, joyful, and rooted in European values of sustainability and community.
